THE STORY OF DEBBY CYPIN!

HI DEBBY, THANKS FOR SHARING A FEW LINES ABOUT YOUR BACKGROUND.

I am 34 years old, born and raised most of my life in Israel. When I met my future husband we together moved to live in Europe (Czech Republic), and later moved to Mauritius.
Since my mother is South African and my father is from Germany, we speak English at home and this is my mother tongue. I do also speak Hebrew fluently and Czech quite well.
I love studying and I was a top stu-dent at my university, studying Biology and neuroscience, graduating with hon-ors. I was supposed to continue my studying for my PhD. It was then I met my husband to be, and since he got a great job offer in Czech Republic, I decided to stop my studies and joined him.

IS THERE ANY IMPORTANT MILESTONE YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE WITH US?

When my husband and I wanted to start having a family, we went to do some blood tests to make sure every-thing was ok. When the tests came back, they told me there is no chance
I can ever get pregnant. My husband and I were devastated but amazingly enough, two months later, I got preg-nant with Daniel, my dear beloved son….

THE MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION! WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO MAURITIUS?

My husband and I owned 3 large shops in Prague and had a successful company. Thankfully we took up a great offer to sell our company just before the big economic recession. After sell-ing our company, we felt it was a great chance for a big change in our life and we agreed to leave Europe for a new exciting place and a new adventure. Then, on our flight from Czech Re-public to Israel, we saw a leaflet about Mauritius. I will never forget this article, which actually changed our lives. It was an article about ‘the true heaven on earth’, featuring many amazing pho-tos of the island, describing the island as a true heaven of nature, beaches, highlighting the good nature of the Mauritians. As funny as it sounds, we decided that there is nothing to lose and a month later, we were on our flight to Mauritius, travelling with two suitcases and with little expectations for what to come. We first stayed a month in Grand Bay and we fell in love with the island and with the locals. We quickly knew this is the place for uso to stay and it would be an ideal place to start our family here.

THANKS DEBBY, DO YOU WANT TO ADD ANY CLOSING COMMENTS?

Happiness is a true state of mind.  Happiness comes from love and peace and to be happy first of all, one should learn to love themselves. It is an inner state of being that comes naturally, as you discover who you really are, and acknowledge your strengths and your weaknesses.
