Rupture of Gallbladder
Rupture of the gallbladder is a medical condition in which the gallbladder bursts and leads to leakage of bile.  The liver makes the body's supply of bile.  Bile helps break down fats during food digestion.  Not all bile is needed at ne time so excess is stored within the gallbladder.  Gallbladder rupture is associated with bile leak in to the abdominal cavity leading to peritoniti and subsequently septicemia.  Sucha an infection can e fatal.
