Tips for stress busting
|
Not getting enough sleep can cause stress, as you will feel groggy and unfocused the next day. Most people need at least 7 or 8 hours of sound sleep each night to feel refreshed and function properly the next day.
- Coffee, tea with caffeine and too much sugar may provide temporary relief from stress but it is not overall good practice.
- Exercising can be a great stress relievers running on a treadmill, joining a yoga class, swimming or cycling with friends are all good for your body and can take your mind off stress and daily chores.
- A simple tem or fifteen minutes of meditation can help you to overcome your stress.
- Listening to music does wonder to alleviate stress. So, when feeling low, just listen to the music that makes you feel comfortable and you’ll start feeling better.

If you are feeling tired and stressed out at the end of the day, you might want to try taking a warm shower or bath followed by a short cold shower to help stimulate your body and mind. |
