During these last 35 years, Casela evolved from a Bird Park to a world of adventures while highlighting its spectacular landscapes always in coherence with its natural environment. With its unique concept in Mauritius, Casela proposes a series of activities for the whole family in one place. The park now starts a new chapter in its development that aims at making this popular leisure park THE reference in the Indian Ocean.

The “New Casela” aims at satisfying the expectations of the whole family with its different packages. Casela World of Adventures will have a Discovery Centre with
a 4D simulator, shop and café to enhance visitors’ experience to the park.

Apart from the Discovery Centre,  a new petting farm for the little ones, a toboggan in the mountain, Big Cat shows, walk in the aviaries are all the new attractions to come. The park is expecting new animals by the end of the renovation process, among which will be giraffes, hippos, exotic birds among others. Until then, Casela continues to welcome visitors at the park for a memorable, fun and unique outing.

Looking for some thrills? Try the longest zipline circuit in the Indian Ocean at Casela World of Adventures. This activity is so much more than just a hiking tour; there are the Nepalese and cable bridges, double and triple ziplines. One may also choose to swing through a canyon.

Try activities like the Canyoning or Via Ferrata to discover waterfalls and crystal clear ponds with abseils between 5 to 20 metres.  The Via Ferrata circuit, unique in Mauritius, crossing cliffs, gorges and plateaus and fitted with progression cables, is accessible to
almost everybody, and accompanied by qualified and experienced guides. Enjoy the wonderful view over the west coast from the top of “Mamzel Zabeth”!

For the adventurous ones, there is also the quad biking trip through the park among animals like deer, zebras, and antelopes followed by 4,500 hectares of breath-taking views of the Yemen reserve. Casela in partnership with Safari Adventures also offers the unique opportunity to meet, touch and walk with lions. The tigers and cheetahs are not
to be missed either. Small children will have the possibility to watch these animals from a platform overviewing their enclosure. The Drive Thru has also been introduced with the possibility to view the adult cats in their natural environment from a secured vehicle.
Explore the African Reserve on a one hour tour on the Segway and meet zebras and other animals. Small children will be marvelled at the petting farm where they can feed the animals such as rabbits and wallabies.
They can also take part in the mini fishing competition at the fishing ponds, without forgetting the photo-safari tour where one can discover indigenous plants and wild animals for approximately 45 minutes.

The visit would not be complete without a stop at the restaurant, the ideal place to take a break and enjoy the West Coast of Mauritius. This place offers Mauritian, European and Indian food as well as a special kids menu, served in a beautiful environment with reathtaking view over the Tamarin Bay.
