Try the longest zipline circuit  in the Indian Ocean with Nepalese and cable bridges, double and triple ziplines, swimming through a canyon and other exciting features. There is also our quad biking trip through the park among the zebras, deer, antelopes, etc. followed by 4,500 hectares of breathtaking views at the Yemen reserve.

Looking for more sporty activities in communion with nature? Go for the Canyoning or the Via Ferrata. Disco-ver waterfalls and crystal clear ponds with abseils between 5 to 20 metres and swimming in the canyons. The Via Ferrata circuit, unique in Mauri-tius, crossing cliffs, gorges and pla-teaus and fitted with progression cables, is accessible to almost every-body, and accompanied by qualified and experienced guides. Enjoy the wonderful view over the west coast from the top of “Mamzel Zabeth”!

You need more adrenalin? Be among our first visitors to try our newly launched activity, the Canyon Swing, a different type of Bun-gee Jumping. You are suspended  from vertical cables and ‘take off’  from a platform 45 meters from the ground …

Our partner Safari Adventures also offers the unique opportunity to meet, touch and walk with the lions. The Tigers and Cheetahs are not to be missed either. Small children will have the possibility to watch these animals from a platform over viewing their enclosure. The Drive Through has also been introduced with the possi-bility to discover a vast enclosure of 12 acres in a secured vehicle and view our adult lions in their natural environment. The Drive Through with the tigers is coming soon!

Discover the African Reserve on a one hour tour on the Segway and meet zebras and other animals or try the photo-safari tour for approxi-mately 45 minutes and discover the indigenous plants and deer, wild boars, zebras, ostriches and other animals. Stop by the petting farm and the fishing pond to please the youngest ones!

The visit would not be complete without a stop at the restaurant, the ideal place to take a break and enjoy the breathtaking view over Tamarin Bay and the West Coast of Mauritius. This place offers Mauritian, European and Indian food as well as a special kids menu, served in a beautiful environment with the sounds of nature in the background.

During these last 35 years, Casela evolved from a Bird Park to a nature and leisure park while putting forward its spectacular landscapes always in total respect of nature. The park now starts a new chapter in its develop-ment with its revamping that aims at making of this popular leisure park THE reference in the Indian Ocean region. This development will enhan-ce the leisure activities offer of the island.

The "New Casela" will include four thematic worlds, the ‘Kingdoms’: Safari, Nature, Mountain and Water, as well as a hub for discovery and learning, the Discovery Centre:
■ Safari Kingdom: Quad, Photo-Safari, dedicated area for Big Cats, Elephants and suitable for safaris and interactions with Giraffes.
■ Nature Kingdom: Bird Park, Canopy Park, Animal show. Mountain Kingdom: Canyoning, Via Ferrata, Zip Lines, Climbing Wall
■ Water Kingdom: Wave pool, Toboggans (children and adults), a lagoon as well as an artificial river.
■ Discovery Centre: 4D Cinema, discovery of natural science and History of Mauritius through giant 3D Maps.

The reorganization of Casela is planned on three phases and marks the launch of the second stage of Medine Master Plan 2005-2025 which rolls out all its developments planned on the lands of the group over twenty years. At the same time, the park situated at Cascavelle will continue to meet the expectations of all families.

For our youngest guests, for those who are young at heart, for those  who need time to switch off from hectic life in the city and for those who want to spice up their holiday with some action, the Casela Nature & Leisure Park offers something  for everybody!
