MANCHESTER UNITED WILL FACE MAN CITY IN FA CUP SEMIS

Manchester City set up an intriguing clash against local rivals Manchester United in the semi-finals of the FA Cup at Wembley.

City, who beat Reading 1-0 in Sunday's quarter-final, are looking to secure their first silverware since their League Cup win in 1976.

Micah Richards' header sent Manchester City into an FA Cup semi-final blockbuster with Manchester United next month as they eded out Championship side Reading.

It will be the Blues' first appearance at that stage of the competition for 30 years and they will hope to avoid the nerves that affected them against the Royals.

Apart from David Silva, Roberto Mancini's men were below par and frustrations in the stands were already becoming apparent before Richards rose to power home Silva's 73rd-minute corner to overcome a plucky Reading outfit.

Bolton have been paired with Stoke in the last four, following wins over Birmingham and West Ham, respectively.

Wembley Stadium will host both semi-finals on 16 and 17 April.
