On it’s opening day, Hate Story opened better than Vicky Donor. But was soon over-taken, as the erotic thriller had poor occupancy at multiplexes, where the ticket prices are much higher.

Having said that, purely based on the numbers of footfalls, more people watched Hate Story over the weekend than Vicky Donor.

The film has sustained pretty well on Monday and Tuesday, and investment has already been recovered in the first 4 days.
