Prabha Khaitan Foundation, in association with Techno India, hosted a dinner at a a five star property in Thimphu to celebrate the Mountain Echo Literary festival in Bhutan.
The chief guest for the function was Her Majesty Ashi Sangay Choden Wangchuck - the Queen Mother of Bhutan, who also released the book, Posing Posterity: Royal Indian Portraits, by Pramod Kumar KG.
The star-studded guest list included those from the film fraternity such as Sharmila Tagore, Arshad Warsi and Tisca Chopra. Gulzar, Vikram Seth, Patrick French, William Dalrymple also attended the dinner. Diplomats such as the Indian Ambassador to Bhutan, HE Pavan K Varma, and his wife too were present at the do.
Guests who attended the function enjoyed cocktails and Bhutanese cuisine. Many of the guests attended the dinner in the Bhutanese traditional dress.
