It's been quite a couture week in Paris, as Elizabeth Banks and Jessica Alba showed up at Versace, and Jennifer Lawrence, Marion Cotillard and Sharon Stone attended Raf Simons' debut at Dior, plus a big showing of other major fashion designers like Azzedine Alaia, Riccardo Tisci and Marc Jacobs.
But Giorgio Armani's Prive couture showing didn't have its usual major front row. Sure, Claudia Cardinale and Sophia Loren showed up, as did French iconic actress Isabelle Huppert. But from Hollywood, it was only Zoe Saldana and Leslie Mann for Armani's showing, which relied heavily on mismatched evening tuxedo-style suits laced with icy colors and ombre silver-toned gowns.
Loren and Saldana were seated on either side of Armani's niece and "face," if you will, Roberta Armani, who has many Hollywood friends.
Loren has been the muse of a number of designers, particularly Valentino in his heyday. She's taken to wearing Armani a great deal in the past decade.
